Talia Corren is a seasoned development professional with experience articulating mission-based work through a variety of channels. At organizations ranging in size and lifecycle - from true start-up to established field leaders - Talia’s primary focus has been working with cultural institutions at pivotal moments of growth and change, specializing in Strategic Planning, Board Development, and establishing Individual Giving and Major Gift Programs. While at Signature Theatre, Talia helped open the $75M Pershing Square Signature Center and planned an exclusive fundraising dinner hosted by Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Most recently, she founded The Uprising, an innovative giving circle whose mission is to empower New Yorkers to identify as philanthropists through collective giving. For Advance NYC, Talia leads Saratoga Performing Arts Center (Strategic Plan creation; Interim Vice President of Development), fundraising for WP Theater, Playwrights Realm, and Red Bull Theater. Previous clients include Classic Stage Company and events for ArtsConnection and Harmony Program. A native of Denver, CO, Talia is a proud graduate of The University of Michigan with degrees in English and Musical Theater.
