Yasmine Falk (Partner & Senior Consultant) has worked to build capacity at non-profits across New York for over a decade. She began her career in fundraising at the acclaimed Public Theater and later served as the Director of Development for The Film Society of Lincoln Center, a constituent organization of one of the world’s foremost performing arts institutions, where she led the public portion of a $40 million capital campaign. Since co-founding Advance NYC in 2011, Yasmine has provided strategic vision and fundraising support for a variety of non-profit organizations including Prospect Park Alliance, Pilobolus Dance Theater, Roundabout Theater Company, The Public Theater, Making Books Sing/New York City Children’s Theater, ArtsConnection, The Harmony Program, Labyrinth Theater Company, A.R.T./New York, Room to Grow, and The New York Academy of Art, among many others. Prior to discovering her passion for nonprofit management, she studied classical voice at New York University. The oldest of eight and mother of two, Yasmine is also frequently honing her skills as an amateur chef.

Demos Tsilikoudis (Partner & Senior Consultant) spearheads Advance NYC’s event-focused partnerships and projects, bringing over 15 years of experience in live event production, theatrical production and management, fundraising, event marketing, and design from both the non-profit and for-profit worlds. As co-founder of Advance NYC, he has drawn from his knowledge in asset creation, marketing, promotions, publicity, and corporate partnerships to plan and execute a wide range of high-profile, large-scale engagements including Helen Keller International’s Spirit of Helen Keller Gala, Labyrinth Theater Company’s Celebrity Charades, and ArtsConnection’s annual Benefit Celebration. Prior to Advance NYC Demos held leadership positions for projects including logistic management and production planning for the national tour of 24M: The DRIVE4COPD Monument, a 13-ton traveling art installation; production management for the first annual NY Television Festival; general management for the NY Musical Theater Festival; and fundraising event management for the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, as well as Off-Broadway general management and producing house experience for a variety of NYC favorites. Demos once boasted long locks, minored in dance in college, and continues to grow his encyclopedic-like knowledge of Star Wars with the help of his sons.

Rose Polidoro (Senior Consultant) provides consulting services that include Marketing Strategy, Brand Building, Integration/Content Marketing, Brand Patronage, Sponsorship Representation, and Strategic Partnership Development. Rose has cross industry experience including Film, Theater, Music, Sports, Radio, TV, Publishing, Social, and Digital. She has held senior marketing positions with Metromedia WNEW-AM/FM, Radio City Productions, New Line Cinema, Warner Music, and AOL, and has been affiliated with many iconic brands and properties. Client work has included the Broadway Productions of HAIR and ANNIE, Sports Illustrated Blue Man Group, VH1 Save The Music, Disney, Avon, The Public Theater, The Old Vic Theater in London, The American Repertory Theater at Harvard, The Film Society at Lincoln Center, and films including The Lord of The Rings.

Rose has lectured at Yale University, The Wharton School of Business, and New York University. She has taught Marketing in the Graduate Art Studies Program at FIT and the Mountbatten International Business Program, founded in the UK. She has served on non-profit Boards including The Pantomonium Theater, Suarez Dance Company, The Animation Project, The Signature Theatre Board and both the Boy Scouts and Catholic Big Brothers of NYC. She is a member of the British Academy of Film and Television. She received her BS from the University of New Haven in 1977; is a member of the UNH College of Arts and Sciences Advisory Board; and has served on the Steering Committee for the University¹s inaugural Women in Leadership Conference. Sara Elghobashy (Senior Managing Consultant) is a development specialist with a unique background in helping to elevate the missions of human services and social impact organizations, both stateside and internationally. In her client work, Sara draws from her experience in institutional giving, board development, donor cultivation, event-based fundraising, and organizational strategy to help clients create and implement a roadmap for long-term growth. Prior to joining Advance NYC, Sara worked with Women’s World Banking, Room to Grow, Women Aware, the Arab-American Family Support Center, and Egypt’s Children Cancer Hospital. She holds a BA in Religious Studies and Middle Eastern & Islamic Studies from New York University, and is fluent in Arabic and English. Sara is an avid traveler, an aspiring tennis pro, and a taco enthusiast.

Talia Corren (Managing Consultant) is a seasoned development professional with experience in articulating mission-based work through a variety of channels. Talia specializes in Strategic Planning, Board Development, Fundraising Management and Execution, and Branding. While at Signature Theatre, Talia helped open the $75 million Pershing Square Signature Center. Major accomplishments include leading an exclusive fundraising dinner hosted by Mayor Michael Bloomberg and conceiving branding for “Play it Forward,” a campaign to support the Signature Ticket Initiative. Following Signature, she led all phases of development for the critically acclaimed Soho Rep, increasing Gala table and ticket sales by 50% in one year and launching “The Inner Circle” to generate annual gifts of $2,000. Most recently, she founded The Uprising, an innovative giving circle whose mission is to empower New Yorkers to identify as philanthropists through collective giving. For Advance NYC, Talia leads the fundraising efforts of Classic Stage Company and Saratoga Performing Arts Center, and manages events for ArtsConnection and Harmony Program. A proud native of Denver, CO, Talia is a graduate of The University of Michigan with degrees in English and Musical Theater. Talia deeply identifies with Leslie Knope and Ruth Bader Ginsberg, and has never met a cheese she wasn't fond of.

Sarah Dell'Orto (Managing Consultant) is a seasoned development professional specializing in foundation and government giving. She has experience working with organizations both large and small, and brings a deep understanding of the funding community and a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities within the sector. Prior to joining Advance NYC she spent four years as the Grants Manager at Signature Theatre, where she managed a portfolio of 40 institutional funders totaling nearly $1 million. She has also worked as an institutional giving consultant for Naked Angels, One Year Lease, and The Uprising. She previously served as the Deputy Director of Domestic Programs at Battery Dance Company. Sarah holds a BA in English from New York University and an MPhil in Popular Literature from Trinity College Dublin. In her spare time, Sarah tends to her ever-growing collection of plants, dabbles in mediocre embroidery, and makes a killer Cynar Negroni.

Eve Wolff (Managing Consultant) brings a wealth of experience in arts non-profits, special events, and theatrical production to Advance NYC. She has managed special events large and small for over a dozen clients to date including Pilobolus Dance Theatre, Soho Repertory Theatre, ArtsConnection, WorldFund, and the Louis Armstrong House Museum. Prior to joining Advance NYC Eve executed events for organizations such as The Interschool Orchestras of NY, the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, and the Public Theater. In addition to events, she spent years as a leader in New York City arts education, including serving as the Director of Programming at Young Audiences New York. As an administrator she interfaced with artists, educators, local and national committees, government officials, board members, foundations, and individuals in her efforts to support arts education. Eve currently serves as a Member of the Board of the New York City Arts in Education Roundtable. She brings extensive experience in stage managing and producing theatrical events to her role and holds a BFA in theater from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Eve also serves on the PTA and School Leadership Team of her children’s school, where her baking skills and expertise in both fundraising and face painting are in high demand.

Molly Murphy (Junior Manager) has served as an integral member of the Advance NYC team since 2014, designing and implementing institutional and individual giving strategies, drafting major grant proposals, and creating and managing grant calendars and timelines for non-profits including Fiasco Theater, the Louis Armstrong House Museum, The American Museum of Natural History, New York City Children's Theater, and Prospect Park Alliance, among others. She also works as a professional musician in New York City, has recorded collaboratively and as a solo artist, and produces community concert series and variety nights showcasing multi-genre artists. Prior to Advance NYC, Molly worked for The Playwright's Foundation and Fishamble: The New Play Company, assisting with artist retreats, fundraising events, and front of house and stage management. Molly received a theater arts degree from Santa Clara University, where she majored in acting and playwriting. She loves post-apocalyptic fiction, tap dancing, and has a (not so) secret comic book collection.

Lindsey Smith (Associate) joined Advance NYC in 2015, where she draws from her strategic event planning and fundraising skills as an integral member of the events team. She develops and manages event budgets and timelines, analyzes event performances, creates and implements fundraising strategies, manages databases and ticket sales, and oversees the collection of event-related data. Prior to Advance NYC, Lindsey was a Research Assistant through Americorps VISTA with the New York Women’s Foundation, where she managed databases for 100+ grantee performances and analyzed data for publications including the Foundation’s Annual Report and Strategic Learning Initiatives. She brings an extensive background in community organizing for local, state, and national political organizations and candidates including Freedom Indiana, where she served as a Lead Field Organizer. Lindsey graduated from Indiana University with a double major in Philosophy and Political Science and a double minor in Nonprofit Management and Business. She is a lifelong ballerina with a green thumb.

Rebecca Riley (Associate) has been a proud member of the Advance NYC team since 2015. During her tenure, she has helped strategize and institute individual, institutional and corporate giving strategies for a variety of nonprofits including The Louis Armstrong House Museum, Fiasco Theater, The American Museum of Natural History, Prospect Park Alliance, The Play Company, among others. Prior to Advance NYC, Rebecca interned and volunteered with Good Grief, Inc. and The Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey, where she worked in development, volunteer management, marketing and communications. Rebecca holds a bachelor's degree from Drew University, where she majored in comparative religion and minored in photography and French. In her spare time, Rebecca can be found hiking up a mountain, baking up a storm in her kitchen, or tending to her house plants.

Katherine Daugherty (Associate) comes to Advance with a passion for the arts and an array of theatrical knowledge and experience. She is responsible for essential client-focused administrative tasks such as overseeing calendar management, developing donor correspondence, and preparing foundation and government proposal submissions. Most recently, she worked for Paradigm Talent Agency and its sister company AM Only, where she worked in operations and Human Resources management and was an integral part of the roll-out of new systems and development of best practices. Katherine is a graduate of The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Kate is an avid traveler, Judy Garland super-fan, and lover of a good pun.

Elah Seidel (Associate) assists on multiple projects with Advance NYC, supporting the work of non-profits including Classic Stage Company, ArtsConnection, and Harmony Program. She comes to Advance NYC from Signature Theatre where she worked in Company Management and Ticket Services. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Oregon with a BA in Theatre Arts and double minors in Arts Administration and Latin American Studies. On campus, she served as the Co-Chair and Special Events Coordinator for the singular student-run theatre organization, where she coordinated all annual Student Outreach events. She has a background in theatre as a director, producer, and actor and has additional experience working as an administrative assistant in the non-profit sector. Elah loves to cook for family and friends, learn languages, and hike.

Lyndsey Barratt (Manager) brings over ten years of fundraising experience in the nonprofit arts and culture sector. Specializing in institutional giving, she has managed lead foundation, government, and corporate sponsorship initiatives for organizations completing extensive capital expansions including National Dance Institute, Signature Theatre, and most recently Gibney Dance, where she was responsible for securing approximately 75% of the organization's annual contributed revenue during her tenure. Well-versed with the New York funding landscape, her experience has resulted in major grants from organizations including the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, Booth Ferris Foundation, David Rockefeller Fund, Ford Foundation, Howard Gilman Foundation, and New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, among others. Lyndsey holds a BA from Smith College and an MA in Arts Administration from Columbia University. Lyndsey is a lover of all things British, an expert on random late 80s/early 90s pop culture trivia, and always on the hunt for the best gluten/dairy-free desserts.

Hannah Bees (Associate) joined the Advance NYC team in 2016 and manages an array of administrative responsibilities to assist the work of its non-profit clients. Most recently, Hannah served as Development Associate at the Queens Museum, where she was responsible for supporting the fundraising efforts in individual giving, membership, and event organization. Hannah began her career as a Senior Associate and Project Manager at ClearResult in Portland, OR , where she trained in Agile Project Management. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a BA in History and Certificate of Museum Studies. Hannah enjoys eating casseroles and all Real Housewives franchises, and thinks dogs are very cool.
