Eduardo Gomez
Eduardo Gomez (he/him), a Director on Advance NYC’s Institutional Giving Team, develops and executes foundation and government giving strategies for clients across a range of sectors, from community and economic development, to education, to arts and culture.
Eduardo steers holistic fundraising efforts that fulfill clients’ immediate objectives while ensuring sustainability and resilience for the long term. His analytical and strategic approach to fundraising and development has helped accelerate capital campaigns to completion, build capacity where it is needed most, and establish and grow contributed revenue lines. In his time at Advance, he has helped to secure more than $20M in funding for client organizations. An adaptable and avid learner, Eduardo enjoys immersing himself in the missions and work of every non-profit he partners with. He engages his clients in a collaborative and receptive way, ensuring that their values, strategic priorities, and beneficiaries remain front-of-center.
Prior to joining Advance NYC, Eduardo worked with Creative Time as the Senior Associate of External Affairs. He also worked in client services at Artnet Worldwide Corporation, an international service provider for professionals in the secondary art market. He earned his BA from Wesleyan University in Art History and the College of Letters, an interdisciplinary program in the humanities.
Eduardo is a born and raised Brooklynite. In his free time, he can be found gallery hopping or in his kitchen experimenting with overly complicated recipes, and learning new languages.
