Lauren Kiele DeLeon (she/her) is an Associate with a background in theater and social activism. At Advance NYC, Lauren's work involves assisting the preparation and implementation of campaigns, working within CRM databases, and supporting the execution of individual giving donor strategies. Prior to joining Advance NYC, Lauren served as the Director of Continuing Education with IDC Professionals, as an Individual Giving Associate at Manhattan Theatre Club where she supported fundraising for a $30 million budget, and as the Development Associate at The Lark Play Company where she supported a $2 million budget.

Lauren holds a Master’s degree from NYU in Performance Studies focusing on Decolonization theory and practice, and has been a professor of theater at SUNY Purchase, Sarah Lawrence College, and NYU. In addition to her development work, Lauren is a professional intimacy director and coordinator whose work has been seen on Broadway and across the U.S.
